Where Brokers Came From
In the winter of 1691, beneath the flooded counting houses of the old city docks, a clerk whose name was never recorded wrote down a single line for three sovereign merchants. One crate, one buyer, and a binding oath never to speak of it in the daylight. That was the first entry—and the birth of the Meta Brokers.
While ordinary banks traded debt and paper currencies that dissolved with every war, the guild operated in the deep vaults beneath the exchange floors. They brokered what no daylight market dared to touch: gold salvaged from drowned armadas, stones cut before the borders of nations, and private reserves large enough to turn the tide of civilizations.
For three centuries, entrance to this circle required royal bloodlines or fortunes. Today, the Ledger moves away from sealed subterranean volumes and onto an unbribable chain. When you hold one of the 1,111 seats, your wallet is inscribed into the same indestructible register—so when the next unheard-of asset surfaces, the Ledger already knows your name.
How brokering works
Documented on the Ledger
Each deal is documented on an unchangeable ledger. Once written, ownership cannot be modified, subdivided, or censored.
Exclusive Guild Seats
1,111 brokers hold private seats. They access dedicated settlement rooms and control which lots reach the floor.
Zero-Risk Settlement
Sovereign assets trade directly between brokers with no counterparty risk. When the deal is struck, the book is closed.
The seat holders
Five keepers sealed early. The rest of the book opens at mint.
